Hosted by the Volunteer Management Professionals of Canada (VMPC), in partnership with the Manitoba Association of Volunteer Administration (MAVA) and the BC regional committee (formerly known as AVRBC).

Volunteer programs are more successful if staff is fully engaged in the process. From planning to recruitment to retention, staff can play a key role in ensuring that volunteer programs are responding successfully to the needs of the organization and the volunteers.

This workshop will look at best practices in staff/volunteer relations as it relates to the volunteer management cycle. Topics include how to avoid conflict with staff and how to engage staff in the volunteer onboarding, retention and off-boarding process.

Lori Gotlieb is the President of Lori Gotlieb Consulting as well as co-developer and faculty member for Humber College Volunteer Management Leadership Certificate.

She is a volunteer management leadership expert who provides a unique concierge service to her clients, as well as an internationally published author and workshop facilitator who has taught workshops to many diverse audiences, including Boards and Committees, Associations and Non-profit organizations across North America.

Lori is a contributing author the Volunteer Management Handbook, 2nd Edition and has had numerous articles published in print and online. Lori is also a Board Member and content reviewer for the International Journal of Volunteer Administration, past president of the Toronto Association of Volunteer Administration, mentor for the Provincial Association of Volunteer Administrators in Ontario.

Lori was a recipient of the Linda Buchanan Award for Excellence in Volunteer Management.

Webinar – Intégration des employés : créer un programme bénévole exceptionnel grâce à des employés engagés

Organisé par les Professionnels en gestion de bénévoles du Canada (PGBC), en partenariat avec le Manitoba Association of Volunteer Administration (MAVA) et le comité régional de CB (anciennement AVRBC).

Les programmes de bénévolat ont plus de chances de réussir si les employés sont pleinement engagés dans le processus. De la planification au recrutement et à la fidélisation, les employés peuvent jouer un rôle déterminant et faire en sorte que les programmes de bénévolat répondent aux besoins de l’organisation et des bénévoles.

Cet atelier abordera les pratiques exemplaires en matière de relations employés/bénévoles en ce qui a trait à la gestion du cycle des bénévoles. Il sera notamment question de la façon d’éviter les conflits avec les employés et d’engager les employés dans le processus d’intégration, de fidélisation et de départ des bénévoles.

Lori Gotlieb est présidente de Lori Gotlieb Consulting et elle est également membre du corps professoral du programme de certificat en leadership de gestion des bénévoles au Humber College.

Elle est une experte en leadership de gestion des bénévoles et elle offre un service sur mesure à ses clients. Elle est également une auteure reconnue à l’échelle internationale et elle anime des ateliers pour divers types de publics, notamment des conseils d’administration et des comités, des associations et des organismes sans but lucratif partout en Amérique du Nord.

Lori a participé à la rédaction du Volunteer Management Handbook, 2e édition, et a publié de nombreux articles dans des revues spécialisées et en ligne. Lori siège également au conseil d’administration de l’International Journal of Volunteer Administration, elle est présidente sortante de la Toronto Association of Volunteer Administration, et elle est mentor pour la Provincial Association of Volunteer Administrators en Ontario.

Lori a obtenu le Prix d’excellence Linda Buchanan en gestion des bénévoles.
