Category: ManagementUnder the responsibility of the Regional Volunteer Services Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the operational activities of the Volunteer and Religious and Spiritual Care Services of Zone 6. In addition, the successful candidate will represent the services at various levels and will serve as the official liaison with partners working in this sector. He or she will also help maintain a positive vision of volunteers within the health care field.
Undergraduate degree in management or another relevant field;
•Three years of experience managing staff;
•An equivalent combination of training and experience may be taken into consideration;
•Ability to manage and control a budget;
•Ability to set annual objectives, including the implementation of measurable work plans;
•Ability to act as a leader and change agent;
•Strong coaching skills;
•Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills;
•Initiative and sound judgment;
•Ability to build good relations with internal and external clients;
•Schedule flexibility;
•Ability to travel within the Zone ;
•Ability to work independently and as a team member;
•Physically able to perform assigned duties;
•Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
•Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
•Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
Spoken and Written competence in English and French is required.
