This is a Permanent, Full-time position.
Category: ManagementYour enthusiasm will assist you in liaising with a multi-disciplinary team and in coordinating our Volunteer Program including volunteer recognition.
THIS ROLE WILL GIVE YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Develop strategies and initiatives for volunteer recruitment
Provide mentorship and support to staff and volunteers by clarifying roles and expectations
Oversee and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to prepare written and verbal evaluations
Assess volunteer activities and make recommendations for program improvement in order to meet departmental needs
Develop and maintain service descriptions, standards, and procedures specific to Volunteer Resources
Recruit, orientate, and train new volunteers
Assign volunteers to specific activities according to aptitudes and maintain volunteer participation schedules
Coordinate recognition and appreciation for individual volunteers, and community and corporate groups
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE:
Graduation from a Bachelor program in Social Sciences
Three (3) years of recent and related experience
