Job Description / Duties

We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Centre Coordinator to join our committed team. This is an ideal position for an individual interested in supporting wildlife through public engagement, communication, and education in a fast-paced environment. This regular full-time or part-time position will work with the Support Centre Manager and volunteers to coordinate all aspects of the Support Centre Program. The successful candidate will split their time between daily helpline, admissions, and education operations, as well as longer-term program planning and project work.

The Support Centre coordinates helpline operations, wildlife rescues and transports, patient admissions and releases, record keeping, communications and outreach, and general program development. The successful candidate will support seasonal staff, practicum students, and volunteers in these areas.

This is a multi-disciplinary position that requires a significant degree of autonomy. During the COVID-19 pandemic, this role is a mixture of work-from-home and on-site work with appropriate safety precautions. Post-pandemic, we anticipate this being a primarily on-site role with occasional work-from-home days.
